Use of Blockchain Technology in the Public & Private Sector ~ Free Online Trainings
Following the increased interest in the previous series of trainings that took place in the fall of 2020, Spherik Accelerator returns this year with a second series of trainings focusing on the use of blockchain in the private and public sector. The course is organized within the B-hub for Europe project and consists of two free trainings addressed to the private and public sector organizations, which will take place between January 25-28 and February 1-4, respectively. The trainings are intended to contribute to the awareness of the concept and benefits of blockchain technology, as well as to stimulate the demand for technological solutions based on blockchain. During the trainings, in addition to the theoretical sessions, the participants will be involved in a needs identification workshop and will propose concepts of blockchain-based solutions for digitizing processes according to the observed challenges. DMS Accelerator opens its 2nd call to promote data-centric startups
This call is for all startups within the European Union that are specialized in data and are seeking a boost in the market. DMS Accelerator is an online European startup acceleration program for data-centric startups that operate in the area of Health, Food Security, Resource Efficiency, Energy Management, Intelligent Transport, Smart Cities, Smart Agriculture, Civil Protection & Government, Geo-Spacial Data, Social networking, Finance & Economics, E-commerce, Telecomm, Legal, Engineering, Advertising & other. The after-hype reality of Blockchain in Romania (event)
In the framework of the B-Hub for Europe project, Spherik is launching an invitation for an open discussion about the reality of blockchain in Romania. The event is set to happen on February 25th, starting at 2:00 PM, at Impact Hub Universitate (8-10 Tudor Arghezi Street, Bucharest). The hype surrounding the blockchain technology is slowly fading away, leaving room for a more down to earth approach and some actual useful use-cases. This, in turn, has opened a new conversation about regulations and legal frameworks. In recent years, the European Commission has been active in setting up Proof of Concepts, Pilot Projects and EU initiatives to explore, test and understand legal, regulatory, policy, research and funding needs related to blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies. KPMG Startup Grow Pad program has selected two startups for its second edition
Humano and 22Trust Venture are the two startups selected into the second edition of the Startup Grow Pad program, supported by KPMG Romania in partnership with Spherik Accelerator. The program will run from February to June 2020. Over 50 startups were analyzed in the first phase, and two of them have passed the interview stage and have started the collaboration with KPMG at the beginning of February.
